"Descending on Ice": Voepass Pilots Share Chilling Details Before Crash
There are WhatsApp messages from other Voepass pilots who went through the same weather conditions as the Voepass ATR 72 flight that tragically crashed. These messages highlight five main details:
- He mentioned (pilot) a lot of ice on the route to São Paulo (SP).
- He (pilot) requested to descend, but São Paulo controllers didn’t allow it.
- he crew mentioned they were "descending on ice."
- He managed to land. This message was sent 20 or 30 minutes before the other Voepass flight’s accident. Terrible.

Everything seems to indicate that the tragic accident could have been avoided. RIP
@herc130av8r Normally all accidents can be avoided, but sometimes everything comes together to make it happen.
