Boeing Saw Strong Order Surge in July with Key Deals from Farnborough Air Show
Great news for Boeing: Boeing logged 72 aircraft orders in July, a total boosted by high-profile deals at last month’s Farnborough Air Show.
On the widebody side, Boeing closed a deal for 10 787s for Japan Airlines and for five 777 freighters.
Without a doubt, this is a relief for Boeing—a cash influx, with companies continuing to trust the process. While there is still work to be done to reach the same level as in previous years, this is the right path.
