Labor Turbulence: Discontent among Air Canada Pilots Due to Salary Discrepancies
The pilots of Air Canada express their growing frustration with the company as they perceive to earn half the salary compared to other North American pilots. This discontent stems from an agreement in place for over 23 years, arising from the events of September 11, in which they accepted significant reductions to support the airline's sustainability. However, these conditions have not been adjusted since then.
The situation is so critical that novice pilots at Air Canada are forced to seek additional employment due to the inadequacy of their incomes to sustain themselves within the company.
@saint-a330 How will this issue of the pilots continue? I understand that they are going on strike again. Watch out for Air Canada
