Al Cisneros, the first Hispanic pilot to join the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels, has been inducted into the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame. A Texas native from Kemah, Cisneros is celebrated for his contributions to aviation, which include flying combat missions during the Vietnam War and later serving as a Blue Angels pilot. After 11 years in the military, he transitioned to commercial aviation, flying for Continental Airlines and Southwest Airlines. In a recent interview, Cisneros reflects on his career, his favorite aircraft, and his aspirations to inspire future aviators
