This morning, I read that an Alaska Airlines pilot admitted mid-flight that he didn’t have a landing certificate—what a surreal and unbelievable situation, especially coming from a major airline.
It all happened in Salt Lake City, where the pilot informed his passengers mid-flight that he wasn’t certified to land.

SkyWest, a regional airline, told the Cowboy State Daily in a statement that the flight was indeed diverted and cited a lack of “correct paperwork” as the reason.
