A cyberattack on private jet company NetJets, owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, has exposed details about high-profile clients—including Elon Musk. Leaked documents reveal the SpaceX CEO’s in-flight preferences, offering a glimpse into his travel style.

Musk, described as “kind and quiet,” reportedly dislikes small talk unless he initiates it. He prefers flying as fast and directly as possible, regardless of fuel efficiency. Reliable Wi-Fi is essential, and he doesn’t welcome assistance unless requested. Comfort is also a priority: he often naps mid-flight and requires a cool, dimly lit cabin with passenger air vents off to avoid noise.

NetJets confirmed the breach but assured that operations and customer service were unaffected. Musk has not commented publicly on the incident.

I think that in this case, this waste of fuel is justified since it is to save time and as long as it is not done too often, I think it is fine.
