A Cessna 310R crashed and burst into flames shortly after taking off from Boca Raton, Florida, en route to Tallahassee. All three people on board died, and one man on the ground was injured with non-life-threatening injuries. Reports say the plane had mechanical issues before going down near a highway.
The NTSB is investigating and expects a preliminary report within 30 days. The crash happened just hours after a helicopter accident in New York’s Hudson River killed six people.
